Adfocus has being online for the past 3 years according to my thorough research before embarking on writing this short review and also adfocus has a forum with about 200k members prior to this review.
Scam sites do not last that long online and also 99% scams sites will never allow a forum on their sites knowing that it is the easiest way to detect their scam activities.
I made a thorough research on google, forums, facebook and twitter about adfocus which includes adfocus scam, legitimacy and how the site makes profits and these are what I found out:Adfocus is a very unique advertising membership program created by a popular internet marketer which allows people to modify their own links or urls so they can be able to earn ad revenue from them. The program works on the pay-per- click system, working with advertisers to get their ads seen in a variety of places on the internet.
adfocus uses a pretty innovative idea for its advertising program, although at first it can be a little confusing trying to figure it all out.Though some more internet and script-savvy people might not have a problem understanding it, beginners may have a lot more difficulty. When you get past the adfocus tech-speak, it’s really fairly simple.
As a blogger or a forum poster, you often have links in your signature that lead people to your website. As a website owner, you often put links on your site to other websites, perhaps if you’re trading links or linking to an affiliate website. When you become a member of adfocus, you can submit these links to their program, and they will modify them with code, then you put the modified links on your website, blog, twitter tweet, facebook profile-fan page, youtube or in your forum's signature. When people click on your links, they will still go where you want them to, but because of the added code, they’ll see an intermission ad for a few seconds first, or they’ll see a framed banner on the top of your destination page. When someone clicks on your specially coded adfocus link, you earn money. You don’t get a lot for one click, but if you get a lot of clicks, your earnings will add up very high. The advertiser gets what they want, people are still linking to where you want them to go, and you’re making some extra money all at the same time. It's a great way to make money if you send your links to a high traffic site.
Adfocus complaints A few people complained that adfocus are so strict that they were denied payments after been paid 2 or 3 times, while some argued that adfocus is not a scam that the complaints are from people who have fraud clicks on their links and I was shown adfocus payment proofs to back up their claims.

On a personal note, adfocus is now scam site using "red flag" which means no payment to scam people off their hard earn money. They don't even reply their users on twitter and facebook anymore. They refused to pay me my referral commission without any reason and also refused to reply my messages. As you can see my earning statistics above. There is a lot of scam complaints about them all over the internet. I have decided to focus on http://www.linkbuck.com AND http://www.adf.ly where I have been earning at least $800 and $300 per month for the past 3 years without any problem. I will strongly advice you to stay away from adfocus or risk lossing your hard earned money.
